Insurance Change
Dear Loyal Patients,
After careful consideration, we have decided not to renew our preferred provider status with Delta Dental Insurance Companies, effective April 1, 2025. We will still accept Delta Dental Insurance as an out-of-network provider. Therefore, we will be classified as out-of-network for all insurances.
We have tried to avoid this step and absorbed as much of the rising costs as possible. However, the unpredictable rising prices of materials and labor have left us no choice.
Why are we making this change?
The cost difference between the discounted reimbursement fees we accept from Delta Dental and the actual cost of the procedures are too great.
We have tried to avoid this step and absorbed as much of the rising costs as possible. However, the rapidly and unpredictably rising prices of materials and labor have left us no choice. This cost gap, along with delayed payments from all insurance companies, has made it necessary for us to collect payment at the time of service for all appointments.
This new payment structure will ensure you receive the best care without delays.
We are committed to staying at the forefront of dentistry by using the latest treatment modalities, materials, sterilization techniques, and technology.
What does unrestricted mean to you?
You will still be able to use your dental benefits here at the office. We will submit your claims for your to your insurance company and help maximize your insurance benefits.
How will this change the “check-out” process when you visit?
We will ask for payment at the time of your appointment for the care provided that day. We will continuing submitting claims for you and then Delta Dental will directly reimburse you with their portion, based on your plans coverage.
Why is this change? What does this mean to you?
You must contact your insurance company to determine if your benefits include an out-of-network provider. We will continue to submit all claims to your insurance company and help you use your
benefits.
Full payment is expected at the time of service. If needed, we have payment options available to help with costs.
Your insurance company will reimburse you directly; they will not reimburse our office.
We appreciate your loyalty and are here for you as we change our relationship with your insurance carrier. Please call Kim or Anna at our office (802-253-7932) with any questions about your benefits and upcoming appointments.
Smile and enjoy your day!
